Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 41 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. Sports Direct Malaysia offers over 70 of the leading authentic global sports brands, offering the widest variety of choice and value. Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of strategic retail marketing plans aligned with business plans
  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and effective campaign execution
  • Develop campaign & advertising point-of-sale materials and ensure the timely implementation in retail stores
  • Ensuring all in-store screens are updated with the latest content, including managing the media apps
  • Manage all in-store posters and ensuring it is timely refresh and up to date
  • Assist in mall marketing related tasks including providing promotional social media posts, event set up, advertising space and etc
  • Handle all documents related processes including issuing stores guideline, documents, follow up on quotations, invoices and filling
  • Check all tray cards/labels request from retail stores report, ensuring all reported issues are solved
  • Work closely with mailroom for all in-house print related task including ordering inventories and follow up with suppliers on machinery services
  • Assist in monitoring, analysing, and evaluating the effectiveness of retail marketing activities and advertising performance
  • Prepare, compile, and manage retail marketing reports, post-campaign evaluations, and documentation
  • Support budget tracking and cost management for retail marketing initiatives when required
  • Conduct retail stores visit and market survey to stay updated with the latest trend
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Mass Communication
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in marketing/retail industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team player who work well inter-department members
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel when required
  • Able to work extended hours when required
