Retail Manager

• Determine and maintain optimal product mix across new, refurbished and second-hand fitness equipment, flooring and accessories
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate purchasing and manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability
• Implement inventory control systems to optimise stock turnover and availability
• Develop and implement retail sales strategies and promotional activities to grow revenue
• Ensure high standards of customer service and client engagement
• Monitor customer feedback to refine sales approaches and improve service delivery
• Prepare, monitor and manage retail budgets, sales forecasts and expenditure reports
• Analyse sales and financial data to inform pricing strategies and profit margins
• Oversee financial record-keeping, including point-of-sale reconciliation and reporting
• Recruit, train, roster and supervise retail staff to ensure consistent service and sales performance, providing ongoing coaching and performance reviews to align team with business goals
• Collaborate with management to design and implement retail promotions, seasonal campaigns and digital marketing initiatives
• Enhance product displays and showroom layout to drive customer engagement
• Support development of online sales channels and contribute to growth strategies
• Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and retail industry standards
• Maintain workplace safety protocols in line with VersaFit’s installation and equipment handling services

• At least a Diploma level qualification in Business, Management or a related field
• Minimum of one year experience in a retail management role
• Proven ability in inventory management, budgeting, staff supervision, and retail sales growth
• Strong communication and organisational skills
