Job Description:

Lead the growth of a prestigious luxury brand's retail network in Japan – a dynamic and rewarding role for an experienced retail professional. The Retail Manager will oversee the development and execution of annual sales plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as a brand ambassador to drive growth across all retail boutiques.

Job Responsibility:

  • Formulate and implement annual sales objectives and strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage action plans for boutiques, events, and other activities to achieve objectives
  • Optimize the retail network for maximum brand visibility and market coverage
  • Collaborate on negotiations with department stores
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and competitor activities
  • Define and track boutique managers' objectives
  • Ensure effective implementation of clienteling and CRM activities
  • Drive improvements in the customer journey
  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of retail management experience in the luxury goods industry
  • Proven ability to achieve ambitious sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese retail landscape and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
  • Fluency in Japanese and Business-level English
