Requirements:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the produce area
  • Train employees on produce preparation and proper use of equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses
  • Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure all produce areas and displays are clean and tidy
  • Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
  • Forklift experience is required
  • Catalogs and codes invoices according to procedure
  • Takes initiative to identify report and resolve problems before they escalate
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend and reach – This job will require you to load and unload trucks
  • Verify both outgoing and incoming shipments, checking for quality assurance and refusing any damaged goods
  • Maintain files of shipments sent and received
  • Track packages and keep records of shipped items
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good work ethic
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as a good team member
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Total availability for any shift for both morning and afternoon shifts 7 days a week
