Job Responsibility

  • Lead the market business and financial planning process in close partnership with the Market Manager and Senior Management team, securing alignment between financial priorities and store challenges.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, follow-up and scenario planning, maintaining a full end-to-end understanding of the market Profit & Loss.
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the unit Senior Management team, supporting strategic direction and long-term growth.
  • Identify commercial opportunities in collaboration with the commercial team, promoting strong business case and ROI thinking.
  • Optimise market performance through close-the-gap analysis, benchmark KPIs and implementation of best practice.
  • Provide relevant, user-friendly business information, building financial and performance competence across the organisation to support strong decision-making.
  • Secure succession through talent identification and develop and empower leaders and teams through sharing your business expertise.
  • Provide leadership and governance across Business Risk & Compliance, Product Quality & Recovery, and Technical Support, ensuring robust compliance, quality standards, operational continuity, and effective technical support at store level.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration/Economics or related field or a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the industry.
  • A senior business leader with extensive experience in Business Navigation and Operations, ideally within a complex, high-volume retail environment.
  • Highly skilled in financial steering, P&L management, budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to translate strategy into action.
  • Passionate about growing the business through strategic and operational development.
  • An experienced leader who can drive the business plan agenda and steer the business towards sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Driven and naturally curious, able to identify and analyse opportunities in a cost-conscious way.
