Job Description

As the Retail Facilities Manager, you’ll oversee site budgets, finance, maintenance/operations, contract services, procurement and helpdesk across the WA, SA and NT portfolio of our client – Australia’s largest telecommunications company.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure onsite client expectations are met
  • Develop effective relationships across multiple organisational levels
  • Act as the key point of contact for the facility portfolio
  • Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering timely services within budget
  • Conduct facilities inspections within the portfolio, performing audits and assessments
  • Plan and manage all contracts to ensure they are professionally delivered
  • Continually assess contracts to seek best value on behalf of the client
  • Monitor financial operations to ensure targets and control requirements are met
  • Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement best practice
  • Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures

Requirements

  • Qualifications and/or demonstrated industry experience within facilities, building, property
  • Track record of delivering best practice and quality to clients
  • Experienced working within critical environments
  • Knowledge of local OH&S requirements
  • Vendor management experience for specialised services
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
  • Proven capacity to interpret commercial contracts and financial analysis skills
