Job Responsibility

  • Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
  • Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
  • Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
  • Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
  • Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

Requirements

  • Have a great attitude and are willing to learn
  • Be competent or have the ability to learn to work with POS’s and cash handling
  • Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail / parcels regularly and stand for your shift

What we offer

  • Above industry average pay rate $31.93 / hour + 12% Superannuation
  • District allowance from $7140 annually (paid fortnightly)
  • Up to 50% Air Conditioning subsidy
  • Extra 7 days of paid leave per year = 5 weeks holidays each year
  • Extensive, supportive (paid) training, 12 weeks

  • Adult Pay Rate $35.01 increases to $37.42 after 3 months training + 12% Superannuation
