This role starts as casual, with a strong chance of moving into a part‑time position around mid‑year.
Job Responsibility:
Performing sales and service transactions with customers and local small businesses
Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
Conducting Identity services including Passport application interviews
Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
Assisting customers with mail and parcel lodgements
Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
Requirements:
Experience in a fast paced retail, hospitality, banking, or similar environment
Competent with Point of sale (POS) and cash handling
Fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail/parcels regularly and stand for your shift
Hold valid working rights
