As Retail Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing and managing key retail grocery customers, including supermarket wholesalers and self-distributing chains. In addition to managing existing customers, you will also establish new business partnerships and play a major role in penetrating the broker organizations and retail manufacturers within the grocery segment.
Job Responsibility
Conduct headquarter calls to facilitate growth
Work with manufacturers and brokers in the supermarket industry to expose them to our consolidation program value, consignment, and cross dock capabilities
Collaborate with multiple departments and management teams, both internal and external to increase service level and customer satisfaction
Work with assigned customers to resolve various supply chain issues and process customer deductions
Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position and improve territory profitability
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or comparable Dot experience
2+ years of successful outside sales experience
Experience presenting to large and small groups
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to navigate and resolve complex supply chain problems and create positive outcomes
Nice to have
Strong organizational and time management skills, including planning and follow-up skills
Ability to impact and influence customers at the senior management level throughout the decision-making process
Demonstrated aptitude in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
