Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Retail Auto Relationship Manager to cultivate and maintain auto dealer relationships within the assigned market territory. This role will develop and execute strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues through optimizing business opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cultivate and maintain auto dealer relationships within assigned market territory
  • Develop and execute strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues
  • Assess needs of auto dealers to ensure satisfaction
  • Understand profitability and risk of ongoing relationships
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve relationships
  • Secure money owed to WF Auto
  • Assist in clearing customer generated complaints
  • Ensure processes support corporate objectives
  • Participate in building relationships with medium to large auto dealer accounts
  • Manage auto applications, loan volume and credit portfolio
  • Establish and maintain dealer relationships
  • Terminate non-performing dealers
  • Resolve complex situations and exercise independent judgment
  • Establish relationships with all levels of internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Retail Auto Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to participate in the development and implementation of sales and service goals
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Auto finance experience
  • Previous experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Dealer services or auto finance risk experience
  • Ability to travel and have residency in assigned territory
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day

Nice to have:

  • Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Auto finance experience
  • Previous experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Dealer services or auto finance risk experience
