About the role: At Repco we want to ensure that each customer has a great experience in store, and as a Retail Assistant with an interest or experience in automotive, your key focus is to deliver expert guidance that helps customers find the right products for their vehicle needs. This starts from the moment the customer walks in the door, through providing knowledgeable advice around our automotive products, upselling where you can, and efficiently processing the sale at the till.

Job Responsibility

  • Always have a safety focus to ensure your safety, and that of your teammates & customers
  • Provide genuine service & create moments that matter with customers
  • Use your strong customer service and automotive knowledge to contribute to positive sales performance
  • Maintain exceptional showroom presentation & merchandising standards
  • Process stock

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in or experience within the automotive industry
  • Previous experience working in automotive retail, parts supply, mechanical workshops, or related fields is highly valued
  • Must be confident working in a retail or sales environment and dealing with a variety of customers
  • Strong communication skills and excellent phone manner
  • Team-focused and 'can do' attitude
  • People person and passionate customer service expert
  • This role will require safe lifting, bending & climbing
