Job Description:

At Parkdean Resorts, our retail shops are buzzing with activity and play a huge part in making holidays unforgettable. We’re looking for a Retail Assistant who’s passionate about great service and ready to help guests find everything they need for the perfect stay.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly smile and ensure their needs are met
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and offer helpful product advice
  • Keep the shop clean, tidy, safe, and well-presented at all times
  • Spot opportunities to upsell and boost sales
  • Replenish shelves, rotate stock, and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Operate tills confidently and handle transactions in line with company policies
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations
  • Handle customer queries and escalate complaints when needed
  • Complete admin tasks accurately and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Knowledge of EPOS and stock management systems
  • Confidence to train, support, and motivate team members
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, especially during stock takes
