At Parkdean Resorts, our retail shops are buzzing with activity and play a huge part in making holidays unforgettable. We’re looking for a Retail Assistant who’s passionate about great service and ready to help guests find everything they need for the perfect stay.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests with a friendly smile and ensure their needs are met
Deliver outstanding customer service and offer helpful product advice
Keep the shop clean, tidy, safe, and well-presented at all times
Spot opportunities to upsell and boost sales
Replenish shelves, rotate stock, and maintain accurate stock levels
Operate tills confidently and handle transactions in line with company policies
Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations
Handle customer queries and escalate complaints when needed
Complete admin tasks accurately and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Requirements:
Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
Knowledge of EPOS and stock management systems
Confidence to train, support, and motivate team members
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Attention to detail, especially during stock takes
