Job Description:

Retail Assistants support the day-to-day operations of a retail store, helping to create a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves a combination of customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and general store maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers and offer assistance
Provide detailed product information
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
Upsell and cross-sell products
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
Handle cash and card payments
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges
Balance cash register
Replenish stock and ensure neat arrangement
Assist with stock rotation and removal of damaged goods
Support stocktakes
Keep sales floor clean and organized
Set up promotional displays
Ensure tills and common areas are tidy
Follow store opening and closing procedures
Follow health and safety policies
Report safety concerns
Maintain loss prevention awareness
Work closely with colleagues
Participate in team meetings and training
