Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Retail Assistant Manager - IGA to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a self-motivated leader with strong conflict resolution skill and experience in a similar role to join our retail team. This role will see you providing quality retail service in an efficient and friendly manner, to always ensure the highest guest satisfaction, while assisting the Retail Manager in achieving sales and average guest spend budgets. Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Retail Manager in the day to day running of the site
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of store ensuring a high level of cleanliness and tidiness
  • Assist with staff management including rostering, performance counselling, coaching and training and performance reviews
  • Liaise with the Supervisor in the management of daily staff and running issues
  • Set an example of professional behaviors, including presentation and conduct, for all team member to follow
  • Providing quality retail service in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Ensure the highest guest satisfaction
  • Assist the Retail Manager in achieving sales and average guest spend budgets

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated leader
