An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Retail Assistant Manager - Ayers Rock Design to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a self-motivated leader with strong conflict resolution skill and experience in a similar role to join our retail team. This role will see you providing quality retail service in an efficient and friendly manner, to always ensure the highest guest satisfaction, while assisting the Retail Manager in achieving sales and average guest spend budgets.

Job Responsibility:

  • assist the Retail team in selling skills and merchandising
  • work with the Retail Manager lifting the average spend of guests and ensuring profit targets are met
  • assist with daily management of staff to ensure they are aligned to the short, medium term and long range plans of the business
  • assist with management of the daily reconciliation of sales and takings ensuring correct reporting are adhered to
  • provide training and assist in staff development
