Job Description:

Hanbury Manor boasts a magnificent 18-hole Championship golf course. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic associate to join the Golf Operation, who will provide our members and guests a consistently high level of service & hospitality. The position has a focus on the combined golf shop and operational duties, and day to day running of the club. This role provides an excellent opportunity to acquire new skills within a busy, modern golf operation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide a consistently high level of service and hospitality to all Members and Guests
  • Meet all criteria required to pass Marriott audits
  • Take golf reservations and ensure bookings are correctly inputted
  • Assist in general shop and service-related duties
  • Check-in all golfers and support day to day management of tee times
  • Support daily management and maintenance of the buggy fleet
  • Assist with ball control and cleanliness at the driving range
  • Ensure sanitisation and safety guidelines are followed
  • Carry out course marshalling duties
  • Welcome guests on the 1st tee and carry out green fee checks
  • Assist with corporate golf day banner management, score card marking, and scoreboard updates
  • Support the successful running of golf days
  • Support effective delivery of member competitions and bookings

Requirements:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Focused and capable of working under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends and bank holidays
  • Previous experience working within golf retail and customer focused roles is a benefit
