Job Description:

For well established SSC located in Poznań, we are looking for a Retail Accountant to play a key role in supporting end-to-end accounting processes within an international retail environment. This position is based in Poznań and involves close cooperation with both local and international stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and overseeing Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, posting transactions, and resolving discrepancies
  • Performing bank postings and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Leading account reconciliations and monitoring outstanding balances, proactively addressing issues
  • Supporting General Ledger activities, including selected Record-to-Report (RTR) tasks and month-end closing
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication
  • Identifying process improvements and driving standardization and efficiency initiatives

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in accounting (preferably in AR/GL or retail environment)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Very good command of English - B2
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international environment
