We are a fast-growing, fast-paced company, that has doubled in size in the past few years. We supply consumer packaged goods of gardening products in North America. Driven by innovation and attention to detail, the company has established strong customer relationships with leading retailers, including Costco, Home Depot, Walmart, and Canadian Tire. TASC offers an exciting portfolio of products including flower bulbs, fruit and vegetables, seed, and planters. The position: We're looking for an experienced account manager with extensive work-history managing a retail account. This is a client-facing position where you'll need to be able to present proposals to our customers. You'll drive successful programs (seasonal products in store) between ourselves as a supplier, and the largest box stores in the world. You’ll help entrench our relationship with buyers, and understand the customer’s end goals, and what differentiates them in the market. You’ll ensure all costing and program propositions are thought out - and well researched/analyzed.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and quote profitable programs tailored to the customer needs for both online and in-line
Understand the customer’s goals and what differentiates them in the market
Create and present program proposals, including the new product introductions
Determine store allocations to ensure stores have enough product to grow
Ensure timely program setups and account administration
Coordinate a hand-off of programs to operations
Oversee in-season program performance and take corrective action as needed
Manage the customer P&L and generate sales and profit growth
Communicate progress through the company
Identify improvements for future seasons and work with product development and operations to implement solutions
Set up TASC in the new customer’s vendor portals and on-board the new customer into TASC’s ERP system
Set up seasonal programs into the customer portal
Understand the customer’s vendor requirements and shipping procedures
Create and check shipping labels to match the purchase documents
Review purchase orders and sales orders and ensure timely shipping and deliveries
Ensure that customer orders are shipped and that production facilities have the right information to process the orders
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Retail business management experience
Precise and accurate
Ability to work under pressure and the ability to work with tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Tenacious, strong will-power, and drive
Logical problem solver
Power-user of excel
Communicates ideas and can take them from idea to reality quickly
Approaches problems from different angles
Ability to “wear multiple hats.”
Embraces failure as a learning opportunity
Experience using an ERP system, is an asset preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central
Has a clear understanding of supply chain management
Has 5+ years of experience with business management or a related field
