Job Description

A UK national law firm is looking to hire a Restructuring Associate (2-6 PQE) into its London office at an exciting stage of growth. You will work as part of a nationally integrated restructuring practice, advising across the full spectrum of distressed and special situations work-from solvent exits to complex insolvencies and turnaround mandates, advising a broad range of clients including lenders, sponsors, corporates and investors.

Job Responsibility

  • Debt restructurings and lender negotiations
  • Liquidity solutions and working capital strategies
  • Liability management and covenant analysis
  • Alternative financing (ABL, mezzanine, PIK)
  • Distressed M&A, investments and secondary debt trades

Requirements

  • 2-6 years' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, with experience in special situations/capital solutions
  • London experience is helpful but not essential
  • Additional experience in restructuring, insolvency, banking & finance, or related transactional areas and exposure to stressed/distressed scenarios
