Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is seeking an experienced and driven Restaurants General Manager to lead our Food & Beverage outlets and deliver an exceptional dining experience aligned with Four Seasons standards. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and develop high-performing teams, and work closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage to ensure service excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction across all meal periods.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, hire, train, supervise, and discipline restaurant teams in line with Four Seasons standards
  • Ensure an elegant, well-managed dining environment delivering consistent service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Maintain a professional and unobtrusive presence with guests, handling feedback and complaints effectively
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage on menus, marketing initiatives, and guest experience improvements
  • Manage reservations, seating, and service flow according to service standards
  • Ensure consistent service techniques are applied by all team members across all meal periods
  • Prepare staff schedules, forecast covers and revenues, and control labor costs and overtime
  • Monitor financial performance, inventories, payroll, and daily POS reports
  • Maintain daily operational logs and ensure clear communication with senior management
  • Foster teamwork, strong interdepartmental collaboration, and a positive working environment
  • Ensure proper handling and reporting of guest and employee incidents or accidents

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of fine dining restaurant experience in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including wines and spirits
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial performance management
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong guest-facing communication skills and fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and POS systems
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-standard luxury hospitality environment
