The Restaurants General Manager is a key leadership role within the Food & Beverage team at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and delivering a memorable dining experience to our guests. You will lead and develop high-performing teams, collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage, and drive operational excellence and financial performance across all outlets.
Job Responsibility
Lead, hire, train, supervise, and coach restaurant teams in line with Four Seasons standards
Ensure a refined, well-managed dining environment for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
Maintain a professional presence on the floor, handling guest feedback and complaints effectively
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage on menus, promotions, and guest experience enhancements
Oversee reservations, seating, and service flow to maintain operational excellence
Ensure consistent application of service standards and techniques across all teams
Prepare staff schedules, forecast covers and revenue, and manage labor costs and overtime
Monitor financial performance including inventories, payroll, and POS reports
Maintain daily operational logs and ensure effective communication with senior leadership
Foster teamwork and a positive work environment across departments
Ensure proper handling and reporting of guest and employee incidents
Requirements
University degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in fine dining restaurant operations
Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including wines and spirits
Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial performance
Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills
Strong guest-facing communication skills with fluency in English
Proficiency in MS Office applications and POS systems
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment
