Job Description:

Restaurant Team Member position at GetGo, part of the Circle K family of stores. The role involves customer service, facility maintenance, merchandising, sales controls, and administrative duties in a store environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner
  • Greets customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave
  • Gives assistance and offers suggestions to the customer
  • Rings up all sales on cash register properly
  • Performs multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions
  • Reports to work on time and follows dress code
  • Facility Condition: Maintains store facility's condition and equipment
  • Performs cleaning duties
  • Inspects store facilities and equipment
  • Notifies Store Manager of equipment failure
  • Merchandising: Completes build-to's for ordering
  • Receives and verifies vendor deliveries
  • Maintains adequate stock
  • Places advertising and pricing signage
  • Sales Controls: Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses
  • Assists in maintaining inventory and shift audits
  • Financial Controls: Keeps accurate cash, sales and inventory records
  • Notifies Store Manager of discrepancies
  • Follows guidelines for product breakage
  • Security Controls: Reports all incidents (injuries, theft, damage) to Store Manager
  • Reports unsafe or unethical conduct
  • Administrative: Keeps accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork
  • May take inventory of supplies
  • Attends job-related meetings
  • Provides regular onsite attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment (cash registers, scanners, beverage dispensers)
  • Ability to work as scheduled including arriving on time
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred
  • Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions
  • Ability to work in the conditions described
  • Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist
  • Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Able to reach overhead for objects
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist
  • Ability to communicate orally
  • Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull
  • Ability to work alone
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
  • May require climbing a ladder
