We’re looking for a confident and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team. This role leads day-to-day floor operations, supports service teams, and ensures every guest experience is seamless, efficient, and memorable.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a fast-paced restaurant environment with warm, professional, and intuitive service
Ensure food and beverage service is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to brand standard
Create memorable dining experiences for locals, hotel guests, and waterfront visitors
Recognize VIPs and returning guests, tailoring service to enhance their experience
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and table management
Oversee daily restaurant operations including setup, service flow, and pack down
Manage floor sections and service pacing during high-volume periods
Coordinate closely with kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Support menu knowledge, product updates, and service briefings
Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and operational standards
Work closely with the Restaurants & Bars leadership team to drive performance
Coach and mentor team members to build confidence, efficiency, and service quality
Support onboarding and ongoing training of restaurant associates
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Lead from the floor during peak periods with clarity, urgency, and composure
Support labour productivity through effective section management and service flow
Monitor upselling opportunities and drive average spend per guest
Ensure accurate POS usage, billing, and adherence to hotel procedures
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
Requirements:
Professional, hands-on leader with strong decision-making skills
Ability to perform under pressure and drive service standards in real time
Results-focused with strong attention to detail
Warm, confident communicator who builds rapport with guests and team members
Strong collaboration with kitchen and cross-functional teams
Experience in high-volume restaurant service (hotel experience preferred)
Basic computer literacy (POS systems, communication platforms)
Strong communication and numerical skills
Current RSA certification
