Ghent Marriott Hotel is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to ensure smooth service and satisfied guests across our restaurant, bar, room service and terrace. Job Responsibility:
Lead daily service from briefing to closing
Monitor service quality and coach team live during service
Lead team on the floor, guide new colleagues, provide feedback
Work closely with F&B Manager
Ensure quality and procedures are followed
Take ownership of planning and staffing
Manage stock and orders
Support marketing initiatives on the floor
Requirements:
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment
Strong on the floor and lead by example
Attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
Communicate clearly, directly and professionally
Positive energy, even during busy moments
Think in solutions and adapt quickly
Speak Dutch and/or English fluently
At home in a dynamic hospitality environment where teamwork is central
