Job Description:

Ghent Marriott Hotel is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to ensure smooth service and satisfied guests across our restaurant, bar, room service and terrace. You will join a close-knit team in a unique location along the Korenlei. Enjoy strong benefits, a professional environment and the opportunity to contribute to innovation within our hotel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead daily service from briefing to closing
  • Monitor service quality and coach team live during service
  • Lead team on the floor, guide new colleagues, provide feedback
  • Work closely with F&B Manager
  • Ensure quality and procedures are followed
  • Take ownership of planning and staffing
  • Manage stock and orders
  • Support marketing initiatives on the floor

Requirements:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel environment
  • Strong on the floor and lead by example
  • Attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
  • Communicate clearly, directly and professionally
  • Positive energy, even during busy moments
  • Think in solutions and adapt quickly
  • Speak Dutch and/or English fluently
  • At home in a dynamic hospitality environment where teamwork is central
