Perkins Restaurant is hiring Shift Leaders for our Perkins Restaurant on the East side of Sioux Falls by Menards. A shift leader is empowered to support management in meeting restaurant goals through the implementation, management and enforcement of company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards. It means taking a hands-on leadership role in the restaurant to deliver to our Guests and Employees every shift: Hot Food, Served Fast, by Friendly People; Outstanding Image and Cleanliness; 100% Guest Satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:

Implement, manage and enforce company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards

Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly
Perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant
Set up each shift for success through planning, inspection and anticipation of challenges
Effectively communicate expectations with staff, assign work stations and create enthusiasm
Lead shifts, maintain standards while keeping team positive, organized and focused
Take immediate action to correct food or service issues
Measure shift results and ensure restaurant is ready for next shift
Communicate with management regarding employee performance, guest concerns, food or maintenance issues
Requirements:
Ability to support management in meeting restaurant goals through implementation, management and enforcement of company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards
Ability to take a hands-on leadership role
Ability to perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant
Ability to ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean safe, and sanitary manner according to established procedures and local health department regulations
Ability to set up each shift for success through planning, inspection and anticipation of challenges
Ability to effectively communicate expectations with staff, assign work stations and create enthusiasm
Ability to lead a shift, maintain standards while keeping team positive, organized and focused
Ability to take immediate action to correct food or service issues
Ability to measure shift results and communicate with management regarding employee performance, guest concerns, food or maintenance issues
