Job Responsibility

  • Deliver omakase-style service with detailed dish explanations
  • Guide guests through the omakase menu, explaining ingredients, techniques, and chef philosophy
  • Coordinate closely with sushi chefs, supervisors, managers and other team members
  • Maintain fine-dining etiquette and guest experience standards
  • Handle wine/sake service (often sommelier coordination)
  • Maintain table/counter cleanliness and presentation throughout service

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years in fine dining, luxury hotel
  • Experience in sushi, Japanese cuisine, or omakase service, Michelin-level restaurant preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, detail-oriented environment
  • Excellent service etiquette and grooming standards
  • Japanese (fluent or business level)
  • English (required)
