Job Description:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests at Marriott St. Louis Grand. Maintain service standards, communicate with kitchen staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and perform various restaurant service duties in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to type of event and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
Record transactions in MICROS system
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Complete closing duties
Present check and process payment
Follow safety and security policies
Ensure uniform and appearance are professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Develop positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Lift objects up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
