Job Description

As our Restaurant Reservations Executive, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the reservations process from start to finish for our guests. You’ll work to ensure that guests have a seamless experience when booking their tables and groups and that all reservations are accurate and up to date. This includes managing reservation systems, communicating with guests and the Management team within Azotea, and ensuring that all reservations are properly documented. You’ll be responsible for managing table inventory, databasing, reports and analytics, Cover trends and flow as well as helping the management market ticketed events.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in creating and implementing strategies that drive success
  • Excellent communication skills: You’ll have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, team members, and customers and able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: You’ll need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions. You should be able to use data to make informed decisions
  • Attention to detail: You will have a keen eye for detail able to review reservations and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date. You’ll be able to identify and resolve any issues that may arise and analyse complex data
  • Industry experience: You’ll need to have extensive industry experience to understand the specific challenges and opportunities within the hotel and develop strategies to drive success. You should also have a deep understanding of the industry's regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure group bookings are entered into the PMS following correct procedures, reflecting a true picture of the definite and tentative group business
  • Attend the weekly sales and operation meeting to synchronise the business held on Opera and the PMS, communicate relevant information to the operation teams in a timely manner
  • Ensure all group related documents and correspondence is up to date and also a signed contract for all definite business. Ensure all supporting documentation is kept in file for future queries
  • Process all correspondence in respect of bookings, ensuring prompt attention and filing. Ensuring guests requirements are documented in Opera
  • Trace and follow up on all cut off dates, rooming lists, deposits and other client/guests requirements. Ensure payment and clearance paperwork of deposit monies
  • Be fully conversant with facilities of hotel, including room configurations and restaurant opening and closing times
