At The Randolph in Oxford, a landmark hotel steeped in history and charm, we're building a front of house team as exceptional as our surroundings and we're looking for a passionate, guest-focused Restaurant Manager to lead The Alice restaurant. Job Responsibility:
Lead, develop, and inspire the restaurant team, creating a culture of warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
Take ownership of the day-to-day restaurant operation, ensuring every service runs smoothly and every guest leaves with a smile
Deliver and continuously improve steps of service, SOPs, and brand standards that reflect the quality and character of The Randolph
Build strong relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and personalising their experience wherever possible
Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and F&B leadership to ensure seamless communication and a joined-up guest experience
Manage rotas, labour, and scheduling to ensure the right team is in place for every service period
Monitor covers, revenue, and performance data, identifying opportunities to drive sales and improve efficiency
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of FOH team members
Champion a positive team culture rooted in White Rabbit Hospitality's values, where people are supported, recognised, and proud of what they do
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager within a quality hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment
A genuine passion for hospitality, people, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing FOH teams
Commercial awareness with experience managing labour costs, covers, and revenue performance
Excellent communication skills, confident, warm, and able to connect with guests and colleagues at all levels
A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service
Nice to have:
Knowledge of EPOS systems and reservation platforms (desirable)
WSET or relevant beverage qualification (desirable but not essential)
