Job Description:

Restaurant Manager position at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, managing employees, maintaining service and sanitation standards, ensuring exceptional customer service, and overseeing financial aspects of the department. The role focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise daily restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
Manage employees and day-to-day operations
Review staffing levels
Lead food and beverage team
Ensure compliance with policies and laws
Provide exceptional customer service
Handle guest problems and complaints
Conduct human resource activities
Oversee financial aspects including purchasing and payment of invoices

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Understanding of local, state and Federal liquor laws
Interpersonal and communication skills
Leadership abilities
Customer service skills
