Job Description:

Restaurant Manager position at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. Responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, managing employees, maintaining service and sanitation standards, ensuring exceptional customer service, and overseeing financial aspects of the department. Focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise daily restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
Manage employees and day-to-day operations
Ensure compliance with food & beverage policies and standards
Monitor alcohol beverage service
Handle guest problems and complaints
Obtain guest feedback on quality and service
Conduct employee training and development
Oversee financial aspects including purchasing and payment of invoices

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
Supervisory and management experience
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Understanding of local, state and Federal liquor laws
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Leadership abilities
Customer service experience
