The Host/Hostess is the first impression and point of contact for each guest that enters the restaurant. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and waitlists, providing hotel information, seating guests, and ensuring smooth dining room flow during service.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests and provide a warm and sincere first impression
Escort guests to their table, provide menus and information
Receive, confirm, and manage reservations, provide approximate wait times, and manage seating charts through an online table & reservations system
Provide information and knowledge of hotel amenities
Maintain cleanliness of restaurant entry and Host stand area
