Job Description:

The Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, guiding seating arrangements, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to company policies, and supporting teamwork in the dining area. Marriott offers a welcoming environment, training opportunities, and commitment to diversity.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests by finding a clean, available table and placing menus
guide guests through dining rooms and assist as needed
arrange seating for groups with special needs
ensure place settings are appropriate and clean
maintain cleanliness of work areas
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well being
follow company safety and security policies
report accidents and unsafe conditions
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
ensure adherence to quality expectations
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
no license or certification
