Job Description:

Pasta Evangelists is looking for an utterly fabulous individual to manage our new Chelsea fresh pasta store and restaurant. We won’t just be cooking and serving our customers the freshest pasta in town, but opening doors to one of the coolest locations in town. Picture this: you’ll have your own chefs making fresh pasta in the window to entice the good people of Chelsea in. There’ll be the hippest Italian funk and jazz on stereo, the smell of ragù in the air, fresh pasta making classes in-store, and much more. Oh, and did we mention that you’ll have your own complimentary wine machine to offer customers a glass of the good stuff when they come and visit you in store? As Restaurant General Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating something exceptional at Pasta Evangelists Chelsea. And, in turn, we’re looking for an exceptional candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the charge in launching the new Chelsea restaurant, offering an amazing customer experience
  • Be the smiling face of Pasta Evangelists Chelsea, known in the local area for providing effortless customer service
  • Create, lead and inspire a team of like-minded, passionate individuals
  • Take the lead on creating magic in store, working with the Marketing team to bring limited edition events
  • Create a work environment where team members thrive, grow and feel valued
  • Be the kitchen guardian, ensuring sites are fully compliant with high safety and quality standards
  • Immerse yourself in the intricacies of reports and regulations, ensuring adherence to Food and Health & Safety standards
  • Craft plans to meet business KPIs, achieving commercial objectives and managing COGS smartly
  • Delighting customers and driving sales through continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

  • Able to speak the language of motivation fluently, inspiring and engaging people at all levels
  • Well-presented and highly personable, comfortable hosting and engaging with customers
  • Previous experience in nurturing and developing diverse teams
  • Experience in turning raw talent into seasoned pros
  • Focused on revenue generation, understanding profit margins and how to optimise them
  • Possess strong commercial acumen, adept at comprehending P&L dynamics
  • Experience utilising data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Experience in human resources, from recruitment to disciplinary processes
  • Love for Italian cuisine is contagious
