Job Description:

The Bartender at Blade & Barrel Restaurant & Bar is responsible for delivering elevated beverage service in a refined yet welcoming dining atmosphere. This role combines craft, hospitality, and storytelling—preparing exceptional cocktails, wine, and beverages while creating memorable guest interactions that enhance the overall dining experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, standards, and guest preferences
  • provide attentive, engaging, and personalized service to bar and dining guests
  • demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer offerings
  • make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, equipment, and service areas
  • verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws and company policies
  • accurately process orders and payments using the POS system
  • collaborate with servers and kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow
  • monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering as directed
  • assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and bar setup/breakdown
  • maintain a professional appearance and always uphold Dellshire Resort service standards
  • contribute to a positive team culture and support restaurant operations during peak periods

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience required
  • restaurant or upscale dining experience preferred
  • knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine service, and beverage presentation
  • must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service by state law
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain)
  • strong communication, guest engagement, and sales skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • positive attitude, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset
