Job Responsibility

Managing day-to-day operations of the hotel’s bars, restaurant, and banqueting facilities
Leading, training, and motivating the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding service

Requirements

Minimum of two to three years of experience in bar and restaurant operations is required
Expert knowledge of bar/restaurant operations, including food, beverage, service techniques, and guest interaction
Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office and a POS system
Strong problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead by example and consistently act in a professional manner
Effective and assertive communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff, clients, and the public
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Job Responsibility

Uphold the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency, aligning with company expectations and ensuring compliance with all city, state, and federal laws
Ensure operational efficiency by consistently meeting budgeted revenue and labor expenses. Monitor labor costs and the bar’s overall budget
Maximize bar profitability and maintain effective controls, developing and implementing cost-saving and profit enhancement measures
Develop and implement operating standards, policies, and procedures for the management team. Revise procedures as needed based on experience and sound judgment to accommodate unusual situations
Participate in the development of the annual budget and short/long-term financial operating plans for the bar
Open and/or close the Bar daily according to established standards and guidelines
Follow and enforce cash handling procedures
Maintain confidentiality in all matters
Assist Management with any tasks necessary for successful Bar operations
Lead the entire Bar team through overseeing and participating in hiring, training, supervision, management, coaching, counseling, and evaluation
