Job Description:

This TEAM LEADER role is responsible for the development of the IKEA business in his/her respective area of responsibility: IKEA Restaurant. He / She strives to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives the customers a good reason to return again.

Job Responsibility:

  • Development of the IKEA business in the IKEA Restaurant area
  • Make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere
  • Look at the store through the eyes of customers and walk the store regularly
  • Have a daily dialogue with customers to get continuous feedback about their experiences
  • Ensure the area is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting
  • Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality, and diversity is valued

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience of working in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced food and/or retail environment
  • Experience of working with a KPI-driven action plan and knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead, train, influence and collaborate with others
  • Sales-driven, cost-conscious and passionate about food and people
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner
  • Take personal initiative and have good attention to details
  • Computer literate, specifically in MS Office system
  • Experience in retail and merchandising are essential
