The Respite Coordinator assists in the development and promotion of a range of respite services for individuals and families with developmental disabilities. The Respite Coordinator screens and matches contracted caregivers with children and adults with collaboration from their family. This role involves evening and weekend work as program needs dictate.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Social Work, Degree in Social Sciences or other combination of education and experience relevant to job goal
Minimum two years of experience in the provision of resource services to families with a member who has multiple disabilities
Assessment, Counselling, and Public Relations skills experience
Criminal Record Clearance
Medical Clearance
Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Class 5 Driver’s License and use of a vehicle for work
Valid First Aid/CPR
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification
Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
Digital literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, and Office 365 applications
Eligible to work in Canada
