Job Description:

Nonotuck Resource Associates is seeking compassionate and dependable respite caregivers to support individuals in our Shared Living Community. As a respite provider, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing someone's quality of life—helping them stay engaged in their community, explore new interests, and build meaningful relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting community involvement
  • Encouraging personal growth based on individual interests and goals
  • Helping to develop new activities and experiences

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Able to pass a Massachusetts and nationwide criminal background check (CORI and fingerprinting)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with people with intellectual disabilities and / or mental health disorders is extremely helpful but not required
  • A team player who is willing to participate as a member of the support team

Nice to have:

Prior experience with people with intellectual disabilities and / or mental health disorders
