Respiratory Therapist (RT) position at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Job Responsibility:
Provide specialized airway and breathing care across five ICUs: Cardiovascular, Coronary, Medical-Respiratory, Neurological, Surgical
Perform arterial line placement
Conduct esophageal balloon placement and monitoring
Utilize advanced ventilation modes, including NAVA
Administer inhaled pulmonary vasodilators
Support hyperbaric medicine in one of the nation’s largest multi-place chambers
Engage in cutting-edge therapies and complex patient care
Provide exceptional respiratory care for patients
Manage ventilators and perform therapeutic procedures
Administer medications and educate patients and families
Collaborate across care teams to ensure safe, quality outcomes
Mentor new teammates and students
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program (associate degree minimum)
WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
RRT within 12 months or CRT if credentialed prior to Jan 1, 2023
BLS certification (AHA)
