Respiratory Therapist

• Performs accurate patient assessment for respiratory care, reviews patient information and recommends appropriate therapy to the ordering physician
• Administers respiratory medications via SVN, MDI & DPI, performs cardiopulmonary testing (EKG, PFT), sets up, maintains, and manages noninvasive positive pressure devices and ventilators
• Records accurate therapy and medication administration in medical record timely
• Educates patients on respiratory care procedures
• Records therapy and medication administration electronically

• Respiratory Therapist - Certified Respiratory Care Therapist OR Registered Respiratory Therapist
• May be either a Certified Technician or a Registered Therapist. Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association ACLS current certification PALS current certification or within 90 days of hire
• NRP current or within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2+ years Critical Care experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Respiratory Department preferred

• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred
• Minimum 2+ years Critical Care experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Respiratory Department preferred
