Job Description:

Provide specialized airway and breathing care across five ICUs. Work alongside 1,300+ physicians and 2,000+ nurses across specialties like cardiac care, transplants, neuroscience, and orthopedics. Serve a diverse Milwaukee population while supporting vital community-health initiatives. Access on-site learning resources, continuing-education programs, and comfortable staff amenities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide specialized airway and breathing care across five ICUs: Cardiovascular, Coronary, Medical-Respiratory, Neurological, Surgical
  • Perform arterial line placement
  • Conduct esophageal balloon placement and monitoring
  • Utilize advanced ventilation modes, including NAVA
  • Administer inhaled pulmonary vasodilators
  • Support hyperbaric medicine in one of the nation’s largest multi-place chambers
  • Engage in cutting-edge therapies and complex patient care
  • Provide exceptional respiratory care for patients
  • Manage ventilators and perform therapeutic procedures
  • Administer medications and educate patients and families
  • Collaborate across care teams to ensure safe, quality outcomes
  • Mentor new teammates and students

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program (associate degree minimum)
  • WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • RRT within 12 months or CRT if credentialed prior to Jan 1, 2023
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • ACLS Certification
