Job Description

This job requires the individual to have a good understanding of the process of stocking par levels for Respiratory, Pulmonary, Sleep Center, Cardiology equipment and supplies to ensure that an adequate amount of supplies are available for the departments to perform patient care. The individual performing this job is required to move various large and heavy objects which includes a wide variation of compressed gas cylinders. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure that all compressed gas cylinder storage stations are kept in a safe and organized manner in accordance to regulatory requirements. One of the primary purposes of this position is to ensure that compressed gas cylinders staged through out the institution are properly and safely staged based on TJC, AHCA, and OSHA standards. This role will also assist in monitoring the Respiratory Care, Pulmonary Function, Sleep Center, and Cardiology department, and the facility's environment of care requirements. This position serves as a extra set of resources for the department to ensure that therapeutic and diagnostic Respiratory, Pulmonary, Sleep Center and Cardiology equipment are properly allocated and readily available throughout the entity.

Job Responsibility

  • Stock par levels for Respiratory, Pulmonary, Sleep Center, Cardiology equipment and supplies
  • Move large and heavy objects including compressed gas cylinders
  • Ensure compressed gas cylinder storage stations are safe and organized per regulatory requirements
  • Stage compressed gas cylinders per TJC, AHCA, and OSHA standards
  • Monitor Respiratory Care, Pulmonary Function, Sleep Center, and Cardiology department environment of care
  • Ensure therapeutic and diagnostic equipment are properly allocated and available
