Job Responsibility

Assess respiratory status
Implement treatment plans (oxygen, ventilation, airway management)
Educate patients/families
Document interventions
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff
Perform required maintenance on Respiratory Care equipment
Enter maintenance requests for Clinical Equipment repair
Perform ventilator calibrations and maintain calibration records
Maintain records as required by the respiratory department and clinical equipment
Assist Clinical Equipment with quality control checks on respiratory equipment and maintain required records
