Job Description:

Morson Edge is currently recruiting a Resource Planning and Scheduling Coordinator on behalf of Severn Trent to join their Workforce Planning & Optimisation team in Derby. This is a key role supporting operational delivery by ensuring all planned and reactive works are fully compliant, correctly scheduled, and supported with accurate documentation. You’ll be responsible for creating permits and work packs that enable field teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and right first time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creating compliant permits and detailed work packs for operational teams
  • Coordinating traffic management requirements and securing approvals
  • Liaising with local authorities, suppliers, field managers, operatives, and customers
  • Ensuring all jobs are fully planned and compliant prior to delivery
  • Reacting to urgent/emergency work and reprioritising as required
  • Supporting field teams with accurate job information and documentation

Requirements:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Methodical and analytical in their approach
  • Confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused
  • Previous experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, logistics, administration, or a similar operational environment would be beneficial, but attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
