Job Description

This role is responsible for coordinating engineering appointments, managing diaries and ensuring work is allocated efficiently to the appropriate resources. It would suit someone with experience in scheduling, planning, diary management, administration or customer service who has strong organisational skills and enjoys coordinating multiple tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage engineers’ diaries and allocate work based on job type and engineer availability
  • Review daily work lists and schedule jobs to the appropriate resources
  • Contact customers to arrange and confirm appointment dates and times
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure schedules are accurate and achievable
  • Monitor workloads and adjust schedules where required
  • Maintain accurate records and complete associated administrative tasks
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes

Requirements

  • Previous experience in scheduling, planning, diary management or coordination would be beneficial
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers and internal teams
  • Good administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Customer service experience would be advantageous
