Join our award-winning Access to Resources Team as a Resource Officer and help make a real difference in the lives of children and young people across Peterborough. As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking Commissioning Directorate, you'll play a vital role in identifying homes for children in care, and specialist schools for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This is a unique opportunity to help shape services in a fresh and innovative way.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working closely with both internal teams and external providers
  • Matching children and young people with the suitably matched carers/homes and specialist schools
  • Supporting placement decisions that improve outcomes and deliver best value for the local authority
