Job Description:

Precision is looking for a Resource Manager to build and lead our talent allocation function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to create systematic resource management processes while actively managing day-to-day capacity planning for our growing agency. You'll be both the architect and operator of how we deploy our most valuable asset: our people. The ideal candidate will understand agency workflows, resourcing needs, and staff’s individual talents to put together strong effective teams that best serve our clients. The role will report to our Deputy Chief Operations Officer and work closely with the leadership team and the Human Resources Department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement resource planning workflows that work for our current scale while accommodating future growth
  • Implement and maintain resource management tools and processes
  • Recommend improvements to resourcing workflows that promote efficiency and transparency
  • Manage real-time client account staffing across the agency
  • Manage and maintain the master resourcing plan across teams and projects
  • Develop a deep understanding of individual employee skill sets to more effectively staff teams
  • Proactively identify potential resourcing issues, gaps, or overages and provide actionable solutions
  • Track and analyze staff utilization, capacity, and workload distribution across the agency
  • Monitor project budgets, provide reporting, and escalate issues
  • Assist in developing resource forecasts for new business opportunities and client growth

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in resource management, project management, or agency operations, preferably within PR, consulting, marketing, creative, or agency environments
  • Strong understanding of agency structure and workflows
  • Systems thinking combined with hands-on execution
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage many different projects at once
  • Highly proficient in resource management software and Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
