Job Description:

Resource Centre Support Worker role at Autism Initiatives, a registered charity providing specialist autism services. The Centre provides a flexible, seven-day-a-week support service designed to meet the diverse needs of autistic individuals and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support autistic adults in a safe, supportive environment that offers a wide range of bespoke activities, resources and opportunities for social interaction and skill development
  • Deliver personalised support that is tailored to individual needs, that encourage community access and participation in activities of their choice
  • Offer flexible respite options for families and caregivers
  • Provide specialised support that will assist young people in developing life skills

Requirements:

  • Driver required
  • Background or understanding of supporting people with autism is ideal
  • Willingness to undergo training
  • Ability to support autistic adults in a safe environment
  • Ability to deliver personalised support tailored to individual needs
