Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Resort Mixologist who strives for excellence in a fast-paced work environment. This position reports to our Assistant Director and Director of Food & Beverage.

Job Responsibility

Plan, organize and control all aspects pertaining to Beverage purchases, sales and consumption at the resort

Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
  • One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage
  • Expertise in advanced mixology techniques, including infusion, fat-washing, clarification, and molecular methods
  • Strong knowledge of global cocktail trends and ability to create innovative, seasonal beverage menus
  • Understanding of premium spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and non-alcoholic alternatives
  • Ability to design and execute beverage pairings for food menus
  • Skilled in guest engagement and storytelling around cocktails and ingredients
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Familiarity with bar technology and POS systems
  • Excellent communication and training skills for team development
  • Hawaii Food Handler’s Card
  • Maui Liquor Card
  • ServSafe (within 3 months)
  • Tuberculosis Clearance
